Belt conveyors are often used to transport boxes in all shapes and sizes. By picking the right type of belt it is also possible to transport at an angle, making it possible to overcome a height difference. Belt conveyors can also be built in very long lengths, ensuring a smooth surface without gaps for long distances.
If a belt conveyor is used before or after a production line or other conveyor, it is often important to make the gap as small as possible. For this we can use a small diameter end roller or even a “knife edge” to make the gap as small as possible.
Driving the belt is often done by a drummotor, a drum with integrated motor, or a standard gearmotor.
